As a licensed professional counselor and board approved supervisor (LPC-S) with a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling, a Master of Public Health, and certifications as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Certified in Public Health (CPH), I bring a comprehensive and holistic approach to therapy. I have additional training in both EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Brainspotting, making me well-equipped to support clients in processing and healing from trauma.

I work with individuals of all ages, from children to adults, and have extensive experience addressing a wide range of life challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and more. My career began working with inpatient psychiatric clients, and I also have considerable experience in outpatient counseling, where I focus on guiding individuals through life's obstacles with a person-centered, strength-based approach.

My practice is rooted in the belief that every person is worthy of dignity, respect, and equality. I am passionate about creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of discrimination or bias. I prioritize cultural competence and strive to remain trauma-informed in all aspects of my work, ensuring that each client’s unique needs are met with empathy and understanding.

In addition to traditional therapeutic techniques, I incorporate a holistic approach that recognizes the connection between physical and mental well-being. I work closely with clients to promote self-advocacy and empower them to take an active role in their own healing and personal growth. I believe that everyone has the capacity for success, and my goal is to support clients in discovering and defining what success looks like on an individual basis.
